Project Update
The UC Ready Enhancement Project Team continues to make good progress toward the implementation of the new UC Ready tool. For the past several weeks, the team has been doing review and final changes in preparation for the migration of plans from the “old” UC Ready software. The data migration completion date has been moved from April 1st to April 15th to accommodate the final changes. Once the migration is complete, continuity planners at each campus and medical center will begin configuring the systems to meet the needs of their local institutions.As continuity planners complete configuration activities, we will begin reaching out to end-users to introduce the new tool. An updated timeline is provided below for your reference.
Upcoming Milestones & Important Announcements
- April 15th: Data Migration Complete. The data migration from the old UC Ready system to the new one will be complete on April 15th.
- April - May: System configuration. Continuity planners will be configuring the new UC Ready system for their locations.
- May – July: End-user engagement. Starting in mid-late May, continuity planners will begin assisting departmental staff to review & update their continuity plans in the new tool. As your campus continuity planner I will be reaching out to end-users to schedule and conduct interviews, workshops and training sessions.
